I was born and brought up in South East London and moved out to Kent in
2001. I rekindled my passion for photography in 2004 after an absence of
nearly 2 decades without taking a photograph. What started off as a
hobby soon evolved and I now have a series of exhibitions under my belt
and a number of commissions.
At the beginning of 2008 a chance meeting got me involved in
photographing classic British motorcycles and I have since designed and
photographed a classic Triumph 2009 calendar and am presently working on
the 2010 edition.
I don't really specialise in any one area, I love coastal and landscape
scenes and have a passion for gritty urban pictures too. I have often
been asked who my influences are and what photographers I aspire to, the
honest answer is I don't have any. I shoot what I like the look of and
try to find the unusual in the everyday things I see.
If I were to give any tips to any budding photographers out there I
would offer these words. Always carry your camera, you never know when
an opportunity will arise. Never give up, take as many pictures as you
can and learn what works and what doesn't work. Finally, just enjoy it!
