JACK MESSAM

His birth in 1931 at Gravesend by the River Thames has given Jack a deep love of the sea and river and this love is expressed in his art. Founder Chairman of the National Maritime Museum art group at Greenwich, where his paintings are on regular display in the Queens House. Many have been sold abroad, particularly in America and Australia. Jack was educated at Gravesend Grammar School, is happily married and living in Gravesend near his son and daughter and 12 grandchildren.
