Hope you all had a nice Easter. As you
know I am a Principal at the What if…Gallery and I recently
applied to Dartford Borough council for a grant from the EDF
Energy fund. We were lucky enough to be awarded £2,330 towards
the cost of children’s workshops - these will be held at the
gallery. Please bring your children along. Details are to be
published later this month.

SUMMER
ACTIVITIES AND DATES TO REMEMBER:
Dartford Festival – Childrens
workshops. Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th
July. There is a rota and you can volunteer for 2 hour slots
to help out with the children painting – it would be much
appreciated. This raises funds for Dartford Art Group. Please
see Ruth to put your name down.

really nice website has been set up by Steve Goldson, if you
would like your work to be featured please submit some PDF
files of your work, or Steve may be persuaded to help you
photograph them. We would like to feature as many CV’s as
possible so you could write a paragraph or 3 about yourself
and your art work. For example:
My name is Pablong
Picasa and I am 86 lightyears old. I have worked in the medium
of cooking fat and coloured pencils for as long as I can
remember. My work is held in collections in all areas of the
stratosphere. With the United States president (Ben Lardons)
being one of my latest life models.
The work I have exhibited recently includes studies of
the inside of a dark room at night, and all my work centres on
what I see on the insides of the eyelids. Etc etc.
DAY TRIP TO PARIS
This has been put on hold for now, due to everyone being so
busy. We decided that perhaps an Autumn Day trip would be
better.
SUMMER EXHIBITION – DARTFORD LIBRARY
To coincide with the
Festival in the park we are holding an exhibition in the
library. From 11th July – Saturday 23rd
July inclusive.
